Summary000676: Allow different statuses on IRC control server
DescriptionAs seen in ap+, you could control the server with rcon if you were an op, and some extensions were made for other statuses. A configuration setting detailing what is allowed for ops (or other positions) would be nice.

This would save time adding a new user account in Users.conf every single time. Especially if you don't want to make someone full admin, just give them temporary ops.

we could make it so that you add a new user to Users.conf - that user's <IRCAuth> is just "@" and xShunter takes everything from that user as permissions for ops. the same could even be done for "+" or "%".
what do you think?

was done a bit differently now. the example config looks like this:

<IrcModes> <!-- IRC modes on selected channels automatically give the IRC user group privileges for commands on that channel, the user does not need to login to the server. -->
    <IrcMode>
        <Channel>#OpenTTD.Test</Channel>
        <Mode>@</Mode>
        <Group>Operator</Group>
    </IrcMode>
    <IrcMode>
        <Channel>#OpenTTD.Test</Channel>
        <Mode>%</Mode>
        <Group>Full-Admin</Group>
    </IrcMode>
    <IrcMode>
        <Channel>#OpenTTD.Test</Channel>
        <Mode>+</Mode>
        <Group>Half-Admin</Group>
    </IrcMode>
</IrcModes>
